Do you use liners or a sprayer?

DS has started solids and oh my! I was warned, but I honestly didn't expect it to be so bad. Do you use a diaper sprayer to clean the poop off the diaper or diaper liners? I just ordered some Imse Vimse liners from Nicki's and will give them a try, but I'm wondering if anyone has any experience they can share and which works better. Thanks!

  • I don't use either, though my kiddo has normal poop now so I just dump the diaper in the toilet.  I do plan on getting a sprayer though.

  • Loading the player...
  • we did liners thru the PB poo stage, now we don't need anything since it is pretty solid.

  • We have a sprayer and I don't really like it. Water always gets EVERYWHERE! I guess it just takes some time to master (I've only had it for a couple weeks). We also have liners but we always forget to put them in.

  • sprayer because we have a septic tank & I didn't want to mess w. liners

  • Neither. Plastic knife under the sink and I scrape. I didn't like the hygenic aspect of the diaper spray (like pp said - poo water spray back) and I've heard of a lot of people who have clog issues eventually from using liners. Honestly, it's so easy. Takes maybe a second or two to scrape into the toilet and done.

  • I do the dunk and flush.  Not fun.  Not fun at all...but it gets the job done.

    :-

  • We use the Imse Vimse liners.  I just fold them in half short ways so that the liner just covers his booty.  That way, they don't stick to the areas where there won't be any poop.  So far so good.  We've used them for about 2 months now.
