Horrible scare this morning =(

Today was supposed to be my RE graduation day. Woke up at 7 am with severe bright red bleeding that would not stop. Was hysterical at the RE's office and they took me back right away. My cervix was still closed and both babies seemed to be doing fine so he didn't have an explanation. He says this can happen and to stay off my feet until it subsides. I'm still a nervous wreck but it felt good to see and hear the two heart beats. I go back on Monday to re-look.

    Oh my goodness...I can imagine how scary that must've been. I'm glad both babies are doing OK. I hope the bleeding stops soon. ((HUGS))

    IUIs 1-3 BFN, lap Dec. 2010, IUIs 4-6 BFN
    IVF w/ICSI #1 - ER 2/8: 24R 19M 9F ET 2/13 2-5 day blasts (no frosties) = BFP - b/g twins!

    seeing blood is so scary.  praying hard it stops and never comes back.

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    After 6 long years of TTC and a traumatic birth... I finally got to hold my baby in my arms!

    2006 start TTC

    2007 Start w/ RE (Endo and MFI previous marriage)/ 2008 Vericocele surgery/3 clomid cycles
    2009 Lap removed stage III endo/ 2 failed IUI/ Divorce

    2011 Remarried
    October 2011 Dx: Endo & DOR/ November 2011- clomid & TI cycle
    January 2012 IVF~  Flare protocol 10 ER/ 9 mature fertilized with ICSI/ ET- 2 Grade A Blasts/ 4 frozen= BFN
    Febuary 2012- -Endo Biopsy/  MTHFR diagnosis
    March 8- FET 2 grade A blasts= BFP!!!!

    November 2012-  Charles was born by emergency C-Section

    Dealing with:
    Stage III Endo/ DOR/ MTHFR two mutations C677T & A1298C

    Currently TTC #2  FET planned January 2014

    I'm sure that was sooo scary!  I'm glad both babies look fine.  Take care and I hope the bleeding stops soon!

    that is reallly scary i'm sorry you had to go through this. A similar thing happened to me and it was from a placenta previa. Fortunately it stopped with 2 days of bedrest. will be praying everything goes well from this point on!!

    Poor thing!! So scary. But, I'm so glad to hear the babies are doing well. FX the bleeding was just a strange event and that you don't see anymore!

    Three TI cycles (BFP...miscarriage), five IUI attempts and 2.5 IVF cycles later...BFP!!

    Our perfect baby boys were born at 36w1d!!

    So glad that your babies are okay!  I hope that some downtime helps...and that the bleeding stops, never to return!

    I'm so sorry you had such a scare, but glad the babies looked OK!  

    I hope the bleeding stops very soon and Monday's appointment shows that everything is just fine!

    Oh how scary!! I am so sorry you went through this, but glad the u/s showed good things!!!! Hope everything looks great on Monday!
    2/11 Diagnosis: DOR-AMH .62, LPD and MFI-4% Morph
    IVF #1-July 2011 7/9/11-Started Stims
    7/20/11-ER:No eggs in 4/5 follicles. Left the 5th follie intact and converted to an IUI
    8/3/11-Beta #1=BFN,
    Nov, 2011 BFP #1=m/c at 7 wks 3 days
    11/11-AMH .47, IVF #2 March 2012...or not!! Surprise BFP on 2/19. Beta #1=161. Beta #2 305 Our little miracle girl is on her way! Due Oct 29, 2012

     Had a huge bleed late in the first tri. with my twins and ended up in the ER.  I spotted for 3 weeks and the babies were fine the entire time.  I'm almost in the 3rd tri. now and never had any bleeding after that spotting ended.  Good luck!

    Thanks everyone! Today I'm doing much better and it's a lot of old/dried blood and dark nasty crinone (sorry, TMI).
