Ideas-Suggestions B-dayparty

 I would love any ideas or suggestions for a 1 yr olds bday party, We are doing a farm theme and will be letting the kids have a small hay ride to see some horses and chickens on a friends farm. Most of the kids there are two and under however there will be some 5 and 6 yrs olds. My questions are:

What kind of activities (if any) would you have other than seeing horses/bday cake/presents?

Also what kinds of food would you have? We are doing an 11:00 party thought about pigs in a blanket but not sure what else!

    My sister is having a barnyard animals theme for my nephews first brithday this Saturday. She's havingsleeping pigs (pigs in a blanket), slop (potatoes salad), hay stacks, chicken feed (chex mix) and cow patties (no bake cookies). She's not planning to do any kind of activites but is having her party outside so that the children attending have plenty of room to play, weather permitting.
