We preferred Grovia over the Lil Joeys for sure. DS was almost 10 lbs so the Lil Joeys only fit for a very short time and leaked about 50% of the time (or more). I was disappointed because they were so cute! We had 14 and ended up selling all of them. The Grovia's seemed to fit longer and definitely leaked less. Although, truthfully neither were our favorites. For nb aio's we liked Bumgenius XS and Tot Bots Tiny Fits the best. Stinks that the Tot Bots are so pricey, but they were definitely worth the money in our experience.

thanks. I have heard a lot of bad things about the grovias leaking but also heard the lil joeys were too small. We have some BG xs, FB xs, and Kissaluv AIO nb and some KL0 fitteds with covers...I saw the tot bots, maybe will look into them. Thanks!

Lil Joeys always leaked - I'm not sure why with all the fluff. Our Grovia was fine but I wasn't crazy about the cotton inside because it wasn't staydry. I loved the bumgenius XS which worked great for us until about 6 weeks when they started leaking through the tag, just not enough absorbency.
I use the lil' joeys and I like them a lot. I haven't had any leaks but DD is 9.5 lbs now and they are a bit snug. They definitely run on the small side but they were the best fitting cloth diapers when she was born. (6 lbs 11 oz.)

I also hated Lil Joeys. My DD was 6lbs 9oz and they leaked every diaper. I had 2 from a 2 week trial and thought I liked them and bought 8 more. I ended up wasting a ton of money on these diapers.
I did the like the GroVia nb once they were dry, but the part where the "insert" is attached to the diaper took FOREVER to dry.
My favorite nb diaper is the Tot Bots Tini Fit. I wish I had more of them because they are the only diaper I use when we go out.
I liked my Lil' Joeys (my DD was 8lbs 10oz at birth so wasn't exactly tiny). I never had a fit issue with them, but the dry time was HORRIBLE!
I had 1 nb grovia and it was fine. Nothing fantastic.
I wish I had known about tots bots tiny fits- I LOVE the OS ones. I had sized BGs in S, M, and L but not XS but I really like them as well. If I could do it again I'd by XS BGs and tiny fits.

I personally didn't like the lil joeys. I have 4 in my stash and DS came home from the hospital at 5lbs 8oz and we had him in them from day 1. I don't know if it's his shape but the 4 different size settings weren't enough variation. And they take forever to dry. We have some bum genius xs AIOs that dry with one dryer cycle and the lil joeys take 2-3 dryer cycles!
