Hi! I haven't been on in a while, and have not been on this board since 2010 so a quick little intro.
I am about to start charting to see how my cycles are going before we start TTC #2 sometime in the near future. I have a 10 month old DS, whom I conceived on my third cycle of Clomid. I am hoping to chart and see that I am actually ovulating now, but not holding my breath. Anyway my question..
My son usually doesn't wake up during the night and when he does I usually don't have to go in, usually he just talks to himself and then goes back to sleep, but it does wake me up and I have to check the monitor. So should I just temp then when I wake whether it is 2,3,4 or 5? Or should I try and go back to sleep and wake up and temp around 6:30 which is when I am usually getting up?
I just want to try and get the best picture I can so I can see how my cycles are going.
Re: Charting While TTC #2
Hi!
I'm going through this with my DD. I still try to take my temp at the same time, even if I wake up/had to get up. I always fall back asleep, but sometimes there isn't 3 consecutive hours that is recommended. I'm only just getting back into charting for #2 so maybe others will be more helpful.
Good Luck!
My youngest still doesn't sleep through the night. I still temp at the same time every day and make a note if I've had less than 2-3 consecutive hours of sleep. I don't like to select 'sleep deprived' under the FF symptoms list because my chart will have an open circle.
Most of the time, my temps are very consistent, so simply waking up doesn't seem to matter for me.

Thank you all. I will shoot for 6:30, and hope for the best.
