I've been hearing that you can find out at the NT scan and that seems too early. I don't think I would run out and buy a ton of pink or blue stuff but would love to know as soon as I could.
We did, but my cousin is a nurse at the office and we got a really long 4D scan thrown in along with the NT scan. They showed us why they thought it was a girl and gave us lots and lots of pictures. We didn't buy anything until the "big" u/s, but we bookmarked a lot of things online, discussed only girl names and narrowed some options down with stuff we wanted to do with the nursery, etc.

we did. Although obviously I won't know for 100% until he is here it was pretty darn clear when they confirmed it at the 22 week scan. We didn't run out at 13 weeks and buy anything, but like the pp we started to narrow some things down in terms of names, etc.
We found out at 12w6d. The doctor told us for one twin but couldn't get a good view of the second one. However, the tech had gotten a decent look at that one. I didn't get too excited about it, but we've had several ultrasounds since and it looks like they were right on with telling us 2 girls!

My friend was a told a girl at her NT scan but at the 20 week u/s learned it was a boy. I didn't ask at my NT scan - figured I would just wait until they knew for certain.
Also a 3-D u/s and with one of the top u/sographers in the state.
OB said that when she was willing to guess she had an 85% success rate.
Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
We just had ours last week and the u/s tech gave us 95% probability that it is a boy. We obviously won't know for sure for a while but I'm feeling pretty good about the guess. Although, I haven't gone out and purchased anything blue yet.

The dr guessed a boy at my scan. I was 11w2d. He is apparently very good at guessing because he's been doing it for so long. I'll find out for sure next week at my big ultrasound.
