    Yep, cake-- the bottom tier was fake so I could stay on budget! Big Smile

    ETA: ours was pretty boring, marble with buttercream or chocolate alternating inside. All DH cared about was a cake that had "hard icing" on it... so "hard icing" he had! What a groom!

    Yum! These cakes all sounds sooo good! We were pretty boring, vanilla with a raspberry filling and buttercream frosting. But it's my fave, what can I say?

    Yes CAKE! It was my husbands design idea from a cake in a book by Tolkien. Chocolate with raspberry or strawberry jam filling.

    We had a cake, but kept it simple because it was a detail that really didn't matter to me.  If it wasn't expected, I would have skipped it entirely.

    2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
    TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
    Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14

    I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    Wow, mine was really boring.  Just plan old cake, no fancy fillings, but we had it decorated like a drum set, DH's custom drum set.  That was the one thing he wanted and I didn't care so we had a mini-drum stick topper with our names engraved on each one and then the sides of the cake were decorated to look like his drums.
