So IUI #5 was a BFFN..not really a shocker here...but I was our at 11 dpiui...awesome.

Went in for CD3 and luckly me I have cysts on both sides...I think she said teh biggest were 27 & 24 mm. I know I've seen a lot of girls in similar situations but I can't remember is thats a "normal" size for a cyst of not. Ugh I am so frustrated..now I have to go on BC pills which I haven't been on for over 6 years. Just one question for those of you who have gone through this. If I go on them for 2 weeks and the cysts do go down will I get "AF" after or does your doctor have you start stimming right away? I kinda felt like this would happen since I think I had mild ohss..

I am just so upset and frustrated right now. I feel like we are just delaying the inevitable which is IVF. DH numbers havent improved even on the Clomid.. I have no problem with IVF minus the fact it is all OOP and we don't have the money saved for it. :-(

I have no expereince with cycsts, so I can't add anything there but I just wanted to say I"m sorry for your frustrations.

We are also dealing with low motility (haven't met with an RE yet to discuss treatments)...

Hope you guys get some answers and can keep forging ahead!

That is exactly what happened to me after our first inject cycle - not sure I remember the sizes of the cysts though.

You go on bcps for two weeks - they recheck you - you stop the pill if they are gone and get your period. Then you'll go in again for CD3 u/s and b/w before starting another cycle.

Sorry, this happened to me last inject cycle and it sucked! I had to take a break too, but it was gone after three weeks and i could start up again. i forget exactly how big-- but it was nearing 2 inches at one point. =(

I would say those sound about normal-ish. I developed cycts from Clomid that were about 9cm on each side. Painful as all get out since they were both the size of softballs.

Yesterday was my sono after my first injects cycle and I had a few small cysts that were about 11mm in size. She said that was pretty tiny, so I would imagine 27 & 24 isn't too bad.

And I feel ya, I feel like I'm just wasting time because nothing will work until IVF, which we dont have the money for.

Good luck and let me know if you have any questions. You may want to bring up the possibility of starting as an IUI and converting to IVF if you get a good response- I know several people who just did this and they charge you a lower IVF fee than you would otherwise pay.
