3rd Trimester

Feels like she's going to fall out

Over the past 2 days I've noticed that when I stand up it feels like the baby is just going to drop out.  I have another appointment next Tuesday with the Midwives and I'm going to mention it there.  Anyone else experiencing this.  I'm a FTM so this may just be a normal occurance at the end of pregnancy and I have NO idea.

  • second baby? I never had this with the first one, but with this pregnancy I have had it a lot! My doctor said its because your pelvic walls are not as strong as they were during your first one, which is why there is a lot more pressure.

  • Oh, same here. I can't remember if it's normal or not, but I do know that it's (sadly) not that easy to get them out!
  • First timer as well - I know what you mean... The pressure's been on for sure - just started around 30 weeks... Not to sound gross but the other night was a restless one & when I turned to the other side, my pelvic bone cracked like the sound of a knuckle cracking...It was so strange

  • I just posted something very similar on my birth month board. The pain and pressure is so intense today! I feel like I can't even walk. Ugh.

  • Completely normal. And it starts earlier for me with each pregnancy. I told DH the other night that I'm expecting to see a little hand poking out one of these days because she is so low sometimes.
