What is everyone doing for Easter this year? Will you be carrying on any family traditions? Starting any new ones? Is LO getting a basket? What's for dinner? PIP LO's outfit
This is a good question. I need to find out what we are doing. As for the basket, yes Cooper is spoiled and will be getting multiple baskets and a swing set.

I am hosting Easter dinner this year.I will probably hide eggs for the twins, and have made them little baskets.W is getting a basket from us with new bath toys in it, and some little people. Nothing crazy. Im sure her grandparents will also load her up, and my sisters.Im looking forward to hosting, I already bought table clothes and little odds and ends.

We don't have any major plans. We'll probably just take DD to the park in the morning while everyone else is at church. We did an Easter egg hunt with her last weekend, which was a lot of fun. (pic in siggy)
I'm holding off on the Easter basket until next year. Ade received two care packages yesterday from family, so I think she's got plenty of new things to play with.
We will go to our church's sunrise service - it is held in a historic garden and provides lots of great places for pictures afterwards. This is the first Easter in years that DH is off work. I think we will just go home and chill after church.
Joshua will get an Easter basket with some books, a few small toys, a couple of treats, a new t-shirt and who knows what else. I bought a huge Mickey Mouse pail at Wal-mart the other night for his Easter Basket this year.
I am waiting for the shoes to come in for Joshua's Easter outfit - I got him a smocked jon-jon with crosses on it and have ordered some white dress shoes to go with it. That will be one of his main church outfits for the rest of the spring/summer.

We will be going to DH's aunt's house. They live on a ton of land and always have a huge Easter egg hunt for all the kids. I'm excited for him to participate this year. We are giving DS a small Easter basket, and he has 2 waiting at our house from my family. I'm not sure what will be for dinner. We will eat at DH's aunt, and everyone usually just brings a dish. And, I have no clue what he is going to wear yet.

H's family is coming here, just his parents, BIL & sister, 2 nephews. I'm going to try not to start the oven on fire like I did last Easter Will have an egg hunt with the kids and Easter baskets. I don't have the kids outfits yet or know if I'll get them anything special since they don't go to church service with us, just the nursery.
We're having baked ham, salad, cheesy potatoes, crescent rolls and lemon truffles. Nothing to fancy.

My mom and I are both making E baskets. I got her some clothes for summer, a few books, and a Little People farm (50% off at Target, thanks SH!). DH also said he wants me to get her a baby doll so she can "practice" helping, so it's all stuff I would have gotten her anyways. My mom will make a big dinner for our family and we'll have a small egg hunt.

We are hosting Easter dinner at our house for my family, and some of DH's brothers. I have no clue what we will be serving yet, I really need to get on that. DS will get an Easter basket - we bought bubbles, a new shirt, some cars, so far - I want to get this magnet thing that you can put letters into and then it tells you the letter because DS loves magnets, some of my friends with older kids use to have it but I haven't really looked yet. I am hoping to do an egg hunt if I can get some of my sisters to help me with eggs because eggs for that many kids seems a bit much. I have no clue what he will wear, we don't usually dress up a whole lot for occasions.
But apparently this year my family is going to the desert. SO we are going camping for Easter which will be really fun, but I am a little sad that the traditions that I had as a kid wont carry through to this year. Plus if we go camping do I still get to buy the girls Easter dresses? I think so!
I have no earthly idea. H's sister is coming to visit next week, so we have no plans for Easter and tons and tons of plans for the week before, lol. Funnily enough we ended up scrapping the zoo in favor of...? It's his sister so he's making plans and forgetting to tell me about it, and broke most of the plans we'd discussed, which I was honestly anticipating because that's just what happens with his family. I do think we're going to see Hunger Games though (but which permutation of adults vs kids vs babysitters remains to be seen).
We'll do a basket but that's about it in terms of festivities.
We don't celebrate, but I decided to join in this post and tell you what we're doing for Passover. Hope that's ok.
There are 2 seders (we talk about the story of Passover and sing songs and stuff before we eat). We'll do the first one at my parents' house and the second at my sister's house and go to synagogue with them in the mornings. (We used to go to 1 seder at DH's parents' house but they stopped doing it after SIL and us stopped speaking.) We got DD a bunch of super cute spring dresses and I really want their to be more events for her to wear them.
I'm so excited to see her try matzah and sing at the seder and stuff!
