Nursery chair--what works?

I don't think I've seen this question, but feel free to redirect me if it's been asked recently!

We're trying to decide on a nursery chair. I love the gliders, but I've seen posts about how they're too narrow to fit the twin nursing pillows. What did y'all use as an alternative?  Or were the gliders okay?

    we have a large upholstered glider and i could never nurse the twins together. not sure about alternatives!

    I LOVE my PBK Comfort Rocker - it's an upholstered chair w/ an ottoman.  so comfy, and the girls and I can all easily fit on it still - and they're almost 2.

    I couldn't tandem nurse in it really if I was using my twin nursing pillow.  Best spot for that was my bed or the couch.

    I have a leather rocking recliner.  I can tandem nurse in it, and if milk/ spit-up gets on it, it wipes right off.  I love it.  I also slept in it after my c-section when it was too hard for me to get in and out of bed.

    We just have a regular wooden rocker in the nursery that I only used for feeding when we had company and I took the babies in there one by one.  Although I had the same instinct as you when planning the babies' room, I never found a good chair for tandem feeding. Luckily it never seemed like the best place for it anyway.  It's good to have some space on either side of you when loading/unloading the babies and for when they start getting big and squirmy.  If you have room for a loveseat, that might work ok.  I think most tandem nursing MoMs use/used a couch, bed, or floor outside the babies' room, myself included.

    I don't like the look of the traditional? nursery gliders. We bought a glider/recliner that looks like a Lazy boy.

    Thanks everyone! Since it sounds like I'll be on the couch or bed for tandem feeding anyway, I'll just concentrate on finding an oversized chair that is comfy. Thanks again!

    We moved a futon into the nursery. Should be no trouble fitting, I can lie down, and the room could still be a guest room in the event anyone is crazy enough to stay with us.

    Me too.  I wish I had something bigger.  Maybe a love seat or a chair and a half.
