T&P's needed? Please!

My DD has been sick lately. Not really surprised, we just started a new day care. Just took her to the Dr. for the second time in two weeks today. Last week the PA found a murmur when she was listening to her heart.. she chalked it up to her fever and said it can happen in infants sometimes.

Well we went back today.. she has a double ear infection along with conjuntivitis (i realize I probably spelled that wrong). This doctor that saw her today kept checking her heart as well. He is concerned with the murmur and is now referring us to a cardiologist. I'm, as to be expected, freaking out. I have an awful tendency of thinking worst case scenarios so I'm sitting here in tears.

DH is out of town. He travels during the week so I'm usually here alone. Which is making this all worse.

Thoughts and prayers please.. this little stinker is my life and I can't bear to think of anything happening to her!

T&Ps going out right now. I'm sure that it will be okay. I know what you mean about the panic, though. When I found out that LO had to have a surgery, I was terrified of the anesthesia. We mommies are programmed for panic, I think. Keep us posted.

How long until you can see the cardiologist and get this sorted out?

I have a heart murmur that was discovered when I was in high school. Never affected my life at all. I just have to take antibiotics before procedures that could cause bleeding as a precaution. Hope all is fine for your little girl. She is adorable, by the way.
