It's been unseasonably warm here (in the 80's when it should be in the 50s for March!) And now I' wondering what will DS sleep in. How are you dressing LO for bed? what's the temp where you are/in your home? My dilema is that he sleeps part of the night in his crib and the rest with us and he gets all hot and sweaty easily
We keep the house at 72, and Lydia only wears a fleece sleeper. She is never sweaty or too hot feeling. It's still pretty chilly outside here at night (35-40), so I feel comfortable with the fleece sleepers. If it were hot, say, 70s in the night, I would be going with just cotton sleepers.
Its been unseasonably warm here too. We've been putting her just in thin cotton footies pj's. I've put her ceiling fan on low to circulate the air too. This is both with the air on (which its gotten in the 60's at night so it really doesn't run a lot) & the windows open (we only crack hers).
We keep the house at 70 and probably won't turn it up over 72 even in the heat of summer, so they still sleep in sleepers. We'll switch to actual pajama separates as soon as I get off my butt and buy some.
We also have had warmer than normal temps and she's slept in shorts/tshirt this week with a blanket, light weight 2 piece pjs, and tonight back in a fleece pj because it's cooler again this evening.
She has been in two piece long sleeve pj's. It is really warm here--and her room is ALWAYS a furnace. We put socks on her as well--and so far it is fine. She amazingly leaves the socks on all night--and if she gets warm--her belly is exposed.
We have a few lightweight footie jammies, and I just bought some short sleeve/shorts separates from a consignment sale. Honestly though, if it gets too warm, I'm perfectly fine just sticking her in bed wearing a onesie or heck, even just a diaper.
I am convinced that coffee is God's gift to mothers.
We keep our house at 68-70. DD's room is a bit cooler than that and throughout the winter she was in fleece footed PJs with a sleep sack. Last week during our "heat wave," I just put her in cotton footie PJs. Last summer, she wore onesies all day and onesies to bed. I'll imagine it will be more of the same this summer.
