How do Target shoes run in size?

I'm looking at a couple of pairs for my girls online. They both wear 1/2 sizes now (Stride Rite shoes which seem a little big). Trying to decide whether to round up or down. Thanks!

I think they tend to run pretty standard. Are they Circo brand or another?

I feel like the Circo brand runs a little large. Maybe 1/2 a size large? I'd just buy 2 sizes and then return the ones that don't fit.

I feel like they run big but are narrow. My DD has wide feet and can't wear them.

I would size down. My daughter's size 4 sandals are big, but she wears fours everywhere else.

I've never bought kid's shoes, but if I try to buy shoes for myself there I find they tend to run a little big/wide
