the local beach by us for a week over 4th of July. It will be our first family vacation that's longer than a weekend!!

DH also has a work-related vacation in mid November at Atlantis in the Bahamas... but LO2 will only be a bit over a month old, so I don't know if we'll be able to go :-( I REALLY want to, though.....

Most of our vacation time is spent with us going home. I'm from NorCal but live in ND so really my trips home are vacations. I think the girls & I will head back for a month this summer & at Christmas. We did SoCal & Disneyland in Feb so I think that will be it for the year. Hoping after DD3 gets bigger DH & I can go tropical & alone.

DH and I leave for Jamaica two weeks from tomorrow. 7 days of drinks, the beach, all the books I can read, and NO kids I can't wait. We are also taking a family trip to San antonio in the summer and Disney in the fall.

Family-DH's family's beach house for the summer.

With my DS we'll be taking a day trip to coco key (indoor water park) prob in the next few months.

In september we're taking our first couple only vaca (a 3 day weekend, so nothing crazy yet). Not sure where we're going.

June we are doing a long weekend in Niagara/Canada

we are taking both kids to Jamaica (for a week) - wouldn't be my choice of destination- however its a wedding in June.

We are also doing a week in the Finger Lakes in July

and a week in Williamsburg VA in August

Lots of camping weekends this summer- as well.

We don't travel without our kids- not our thing.

We are going to Punta Cana and I'm so excited. I'm really looking forward to a beach vacation. The kids are super excited too!

We are considering going to Disneyland/San Diego in the next couple of months too. We used to do a Disneyland and San Diego trip when I was little and I have such great memories.

We'll be doing a big family camping trip this July - DH's whole family goes and gets several campsites.

In about 2 years, we plan to do Disneyland.

H and I are going to DC in May for a long weekend with no kids. The Phillies are playing the Nationals so we are going to hit a game while we are there

Jersey Shore in June. I'll be 8 mos pregnant so we wanted something close and easy. And instead of a vacation home rental we found a great hotel (better cancellation policy if we should need it!). And the hotel has great amenities so I'm really looking forward to it!

Over the summer we are doing trips to coastal Maine, Cape Cod, and Vermont (staying close to home this year with the baby). We may also fly to Chicago later to visit family. In September I am going on a long girls weekend to a spa in Arizona, and in Novemberi am flying to Santa Barbara for a half marathon...that is all we have planned thus far.

DH and I are going to the Texas hill country for 3 days next weekend. Can't wait!! We are staying at a bed and breakfast and will do some hiking, a zip line tour, and get massages. And sleep in. Bliss.

In November we are taking a Disney cruise with my SIL and her family.

We have a couple weekend trips planned going to my family cabin & DH's hunting cabin early summer.

Our big vaca is in August when we go to the Outer Banks with my sister, BIL, and their 3 kids. Very excited to get away but not looking forward to beign 34 weeks preg!

DH and I are going to the beach for Hangout Fest in May and then as a family we're going to Seaside, FL for two weeks over the 4th of July. Then we're going to NYC for a long weekend in August to celebrate mine and DD's birthdays. Yay!

We are staying at a gorgeous condo at the beach for a week for our anniversary in June. I can't wait. We are taking DD with us, and I'm so excited to get DH away from work, and just hang out in the sun on the beach.

Then, girl's weekend in August! It's our 7th annual trip with the same girls, I am so excited! Renting a fat house in Sunriver (a gorgeous luxury desert resort) and I will be about 32 weeks pregnant, so ready to just float in the pool all weekend long : )

We just got back from San Francisco where my brother lives. Probably go there twice more by the end of the year.

We usually go to LA/San Diego area every year in the fall/winter.

We go on one college football away game related trip and extend it. This year will be the furthest in Louisiana and then we will spend the rest of the week in Florida.

DH also has 2 different business trips that we'll go with. Not sure where yet. Probably Chicago and somewhere in Cali.

We also go down to the Oregon coast a few times a year.

We like to get out of the house.

Omg! I love the Hill Country. There is a fantastic bed and breakfast in Fredericksburg that DH and I have stayed at a few times. It is completely to die for I cannot wait to do that again! Have fun seeing the bluebonnets as well!

In my world, my ideal vacation remains as "A week at home with NO KIDS (or husband!) and a maid/organizing service"... I love them to pieces, but I'd just like to get through stuff here at the house to get it organized...

That said, we've been on one vacation as a family in the past 7 years so I don't envision us going anywhere anytime soon... At least not until DS is old enough to handle himself when going somewhere...

Then when we get back to the states, we will spend 2 weeks in Maine camping, while our household goods make it across the ocean.

DH and I are headed to Vegas at the end of April. I am so excited! We have to two family trips planned to Northern WI. My MIL owns a house in Eagle River. We will go once with some friends and once with SIL and her family.

We're going camping/fishing this May over Cinco de Mayo for a special annual kids fish. We won't do a big trip until probably 2014 when we'll go on a Disney cruise.

Sadly none this year. We are moving DH to Miami from DC in about 2 months, so we have to pay for me and the girls to fly to DC, so that will probably be it this year. We are waiting to see how all the bills pan out once he gets into his new place in Miami and starts working at this new unit. Right now he is on the road 90% of the time, so his bills are minimal since he pretty much lives in hotels. His new job in Miami he will be in an office 5 days a week and eating his dinners at home every night, so I am not sure what our new budget will look like. If he can get a cheap place to live then we may have some extra money and take a vacation in the fall. Most likely it will be a 3 day weekend staying at Disney in a resort (we live 90 min. away and normal just daytrip over to Disney). Or we may take a couple of days and stay in Key West, my Mom lives there and it will only be 2 1/2 hours from DH's place in Miami. We could stay at the Navy Lodge on Key West for a decent price (we can't stay with my Mom, my Step Dad is Bi Polar and when he is in a manic period he will stay up for days at time and he can be noisy, then he sleeps for like 2 days to catch up). All depends on money this year. Oh I miss having an annual vacation.

Wow! There are a lot of awesome places shared here. Thanks! I think we are thinking of NM as our big vacation, WI (lakehouse) and for sure we have a couple of trips to VA planned. Thanks for sharing everyone!
