I am wanting to get a new wrap and debating on length. I am looking at a gypsy mama wrap for summer and the lady at the store recommended getting a shorter wrap and wrapping my newborn in the Kangaroo carry in order to be the most cool. For some reason, I may remember reading before DD was born that many newborns hate kangaroo carry but it could have been another carry completely. Is this true in your experience?

That is something I hadn't thought of! I also have a not so great back so I need all the support I can get. I also forgot about their being a Kangaroo carry in the ring sling that faces out which is different than the one for wrapping. I might just have to wait until the baby gets here and try out the carry before ordering a wrap. I so just want to get the wrap!!
