nicknames for a third generation?

DH is hellbent on naming this kid Cris Aaron (last name) III if its a boy. I am not huge on it, but it is really important to him. He doesn't want the kid to go by Aaron though. I am not a fan of Trey or Trace as a nn for a III. so, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

    The only other thing I can come up with is Trip(p). But this name might be forever associated with Sarah Palin.

    You can call him "San" (Japanese for three!)

    If our new baby is a boy, he'll be a fifth generation. We plan on nicknaming him Cinco.

    I have a cousin we call Ditto.  He's only a II, but if the first and second don't go by the same name (first vs. middle), then he'll still be a Ditto of whichever name he goes by as an adult.  (Just FYI, we all still call him Ditto, even though he's 35, but the real world calls him by his "real" name.)

    TTC since June 2010.
    DX hypothyroidism, pituitary hyperfunction, and PCOS.
    On med/treatment break indefinitely. Not currently trying.

    DH, his dad, and grandfather share the same first name.  Growing up it was always "Big Russ" and "Little Russ".  Worked fine.  I do remember thinking it was weird in high school when you would call you would have to ask for "Little Russ", but it wasn't confusing in the least.  Now talk to me about their credit reports...
