Just trying to update my puppies pictures!! and a new pic of DH and I (well, this was last June... since getting sick - I dont like my pictures taken too often!)
Also - LittleJen, I just purchased Photoshop Elements because I read that it was good for beginners... Do you use this? Also, having a lot of trouble with my AV and TV. Do you keep yours on certain settings, etc?
*Anyone else that has insight, please feel free to let me know your suggestions too!!
Re: Testing siggy - and question for LittleJen!
Adorable. And bebe11, your dog is a cutie pie too
I use Photoshop and Lightroom but Elements is a great option to start with and should get you very far without feeling the need for more. It will seem overwhelming at first but it is totally worth learning.
I now shoot completely in manual but I shot in those modes for many years. I shoot Nikon so the wording is different but I shot in aperture priority almost exclusively since I normally worried about my depth of field but the one thing you need to be very careful about is that the speed does not drop too slow or you will get blurry pictures. The general rule is to shoot double your lens length and no slower than 1/125...so if you are shooting at 50mm or less then stay faster than 1/125 but if you are at 75mm you should be at least 1/150, etc.
I have not done this online "class" but it is highly recommended by many people.
