Gift for friend who delivered son at 27 weeks

Hi there,

I thought to reach out to you ladies and ask what you would have wanted when you delivered. I think she has enough preemie clothes, etc. but I want to get my friend's baby and her something meaningful. Can you recommend a gift for baby and gift for mom?

    I had responded to one of these a while ago - hand sanitizers and clorox wipes are a great gift and you can't have enough... but I honestly would say something fun for her like a certificate for a mani pedi or if you can get a friend to chip in with you and buy a certificate for a company to come in and clean their house - That I am sure she would love.  That was the best thing that we purchased before Wesley came home.

    Definitely agree with PP about house cleaning, pedicure/manicure card etc. When my LO's were in the NICU I was there all the time and didn't have time to clean my house and that was really annoying to me. Also, the day before they came home I went for a pedicure and eyebrow wax just as a little treat to myself <: Also, meals (frozen) are nice so they can do a quick home cooked meal. For LO if you were to buy an outfit check Target or Gymboree, also Amazon for preemie stuff. Her LO may not be able to wear for a bit depending on NICU rules, I liked stuff that buttoned (usually only tops or onsies that had front buttons for wires), cotton hats are good and Gymboree has some really cute cotton ones, I wouldn't get anything with feet either. If mom is nursing some cute nursing tops maybe... Gift card for breakfast coffee place (if she is not drinking coffee still great for decaf tea and breakfast on the run). Also, just offering to run an errand or two for her is really nice too <:
