Xp: f/u to likely missed m/c

Recap: went for a dating u/s today. They found no heartbeat. Saw a sac with something in it. They thought it was remnants of a membrane or something. They sent me for betas and said I was likely having a missed m/c. They checked for ectopic and didn't see anything. They scheduled an appt tomorrow to meet with on to determine options for missed m/c.
Had betas done. They are now 28000 which is 2 weeks after my last draw (they were 3088 then). Now the nurse says wait a week and come back for another u/s. it could be my dates are off. It could be a normal pregnancy just earlier than I thought or it's ectopic and too early to see.
I wasn't charting or using opks. My lmp was 1/20. We bd on cd 19 and I got a bfp on 2/27 after multiple bfn. My cycles are typically 31-35 days. I typically I (based on opks in past) on cd 21-22 but as late as day 25.
Thoughts? The midwife yesterday said my uterus was very titled to the back. U/s tech said same thing when trying to do abdominal scan (switched to vaginal and then doctor came in).
Im on pins and needles waiting for the next scan. I went from being convinced I was having another m/c to now being afraid to have hope.
Thanks for listening. My last to m/c were naturals and very early.

BFP: 2/27/12. u/s showed blighted ovum at 9wks Natural m/c started 4/11, cytotec 4/13/12 (at 12 wks). **
First appt with RE 5/7. Testing complete. Dx: luteal phase defect
BFP 10/25/12. u/s on 11/16 confirms heartbeat

I am in the same boat!...pretty much exactly. I am waiting til next Wed now for another scan. I wonder if its humanly possible to hold one's breath for the next 5 days?!

I know!!!! It's driving me crazy already and I still have 6 days to go! I thought the week between my beta draws were bad but this is worse! Especially bc I have pg symptoms and since this ive had 2 successful births before (for lack of a better word) I'm starting to show.
Im hanging onto a smaller glimmer of hope. My numbers continue to rise. Based upon a possible o date I could be 7w2d when the u/s was done. I have a titled uterus which I read could make seeing a heartbeat early difficult. I'm grasping for straws here. Just not ready to accept a 3rd loss.
