Overnight diapers

For the sposie moms, do you use Overnight diapers?  If so, what are you using?  I felt so bad for Ty this morning.  He was soaked and when I changed him I noticed that he peed so much that the little beads in the diaper were coming out or something like that.  Poor guy!  Didn't seem to bother him though until I was cleaning him up and making him lay down.  I've been thinking about using overnights at night, but now I'm really planning on it!

Re: Overnight diapers

  • We've been using Pampers overnight for a while now.  They are more expensive but only use one per day so the box lasts a while.

Us too. And when she was in size 2s I would use the size 3 overnights...I'm still working through the size 3s, otherwise I'd buy size 4's. It helps contain more going up a size at night....for us at least!

This is what we use too. We've only had 1 or 2 issues with LO peeing through them but it probably has more to do with the way his diaper was put on as opposed to the diapers themselves.

  • We are using Huggies overnights in his normal size (3) and have never had a problem with leaking or overfilling in the 10-11 hours he sleeps.

  • No overnight diapers for DS2 yet, but we stared with DS1 around a year.  He is a massive pee-er at night; we did huggies overnites with a plastic cover over them and he still managed to pee through.  Ended up using extra-absorbancy pads (from BRU) inside a regular diaper and worked better (and cheaper) than an overnite.  Now that he's potty-trained while awake, if we make him pee right before putting his diaper on at night, his diapers don't seem quite as full in the morning.

  • We use the Huggies overnights. The Pampers did NOT work for us at all. And I didn't like the plasticy feel.

    This for us too!

  • i use cloth during the day and sposies at night.  but not specifically overnight sposies, just the regular nature babycare ones.  they do a fine job holding a night's worth of pee.
