Can we do puppy names here too?

Helping my sister name her new puppy. "Big sister" is Tilly. Shes a shiba/eskimo mix.

New puppy is 8 week old shiba/corgi mix. Female

    Roxy or Rosy. I haven't ever had a dog named Roxy, but we had a Rosy and we loved her name - and he dog. She was awesome.

    My first dog is named Matilda, nn Tilly. I got her right around the time that movie Zoolander came out and she's named after the girl in that, plus I always loved the movie Matilda.

    These are my Tilly's "little sisters"- Lolly Pop(because she was always licking us when we first got her like we were Lolly Pops), Leafy (a stray who we found in a pile of leaves), Tessa (a stray cat who is named after my favorite childhood cat Dessa as in Odessa the swan princess), we named our iguana Ava because at the time I was reading a book by somebody named Ava. We also have a dog named Max that was already named that when we got him.

     Anyway, the point is we usually use names that "come" to us throughout the first few days of our time with the animal.
