U/S Looks Great!!! (Got kind of long)

Baby is measuring at 8w3d, exactly 7 days growth from last Friday. RE said there is nothing to show bleeding coming from my ute, so she feels good about that. HR was 160, which she said is great. She told me I look like "a boring, pregnant woman." She saw nothing to concern her.

She said she doesn't like the spotting, but that it can be common. (I had some more light pink/red blood when I inserted my prometrium last night, and brown spotting today.) But she reassurred me by saying that she doesn't see anything that points to a problem. She's having me stop by prometrium on Monday, get bloodwork on Thursday and I see her for u/s #4 on Friday. At that point, she will graduate me!

I talked to my principal this morning. I am a VP at a middle school, so it can be pretty high stress. I told him what was going on, and that I felt like for the sake of my own emotions and stress level, I needed to take some time off. He told me to take whatever I needed. We have spring break in a week, so I am going to work a few hours a day, either in the office or at home, until break, and am hoping I will feel much better after that. It may be overkill, but I feel like I need to take some time for myself, and I don't want to look back and wish I had taken some time to rest. So, I am finishing up a couple reports and am headed home for the weekend!

 

ETA: Totally forgot, the best part of the u/s...my little one was moving around a bit and you could see an arm moving. She told me I have an advanced baby, because you normally can't see movement until 9 weeks!! Apparently, I've got a smart little one already!

2/11 Diagnosis: DOR-AMH .62, LPD and MFI-4% Morph
IVF #1-July 2011 7/9/11-Started Stims
7/20/11-ER:No eggs in 4/5 follicles. Left the 5th follie intact and converted to an IUI
8/3/11-Beta #1=BFN,
Nov, 2011 BFP #1=m/c at 7 wks 3 days
11/11-AMH .47, IVF #2 March 2012...or not!! Surprise BFP on 2/19. Beta #1=161. Beta #2 305 Our little miracle girl is on her way! Due Oct 29, 2012

    I'm glad that your RE told you that you look like a boring pregnant woman! That must have been wonderful!

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    Congrats! Sounds great. We got to see our little one wiggling around at 9wks. Coolest thing ever. I hope all continues to go well. And I love that you are "boring" :)

    Sounds like a great appointment. I agree with your plan. Do whatever you feel is best for you and your baby.
