They r here

So quick but my water broke last night at 10:20! Babies born at 35w5 or 6 days... 4lb 10 oz and 5lb 10 Oz. little sad about the weights but they r taking bottles, binki sucking erc went to nicu b. they r under 36 weeks (?!?) barely but they already think they can come home with us.  I had a section baby's switched places. The spinal as awful and did not work. Stuck me for a half hour then out me out. Nurses r awful and I sobbed in recovery for an hour w these two awful nurses who ignored me and were very rough

Re: They r here

  • Congrats on your new little ones! That's great they will be going home with you.

Sorry your section sucked and the experience in general. Hopefully you'll have some better nurses for the rest of the time.

  • Congratulations Mommy!

My nurses may have been technically sound but they had terrible bedside manor.  With my labor pains I did not want to kill my husband like they show on tv sitcoms - I actually told my husband that I wanted to hurt the nurse (totally not my personality BTW).

Forget about nurses whosiwhatsit and just enjoy being a mommy to your little ones!

You did well  getting them so far <: Hope they can both come home with you <: my Allison just came home and she was 4lbs 1oz so their size is fine, they just need to be able to feed and keep warm <:

  • Pretty much the same story for us, sorry your experience was not the best.  My water broke at 33 weeks, and they were born via c-section at 33.4 weeks.  They poked me 10 times for my spinal.  I am a RN and I delivered at one of the hospitals my company owns.  The nurses were horrible, pain management was inadequate, and I was extremely disappointed with my experience!  I will keep this as a reminder to do my job to the best of my ability, and to treat my patients the way I would want to be treated.  I am so happy you and your babies are doing well, that's what is most important!  Congrats!
