It's going really good so far. The 1st trimester sucked but baby was fine. Inhad ms all day every day from 5-12ish weeks and extreme exhaustion. I never had any of that the first 2 times. It was really strange how different this time was. But once I made it to the 2nd tri it's been great other than having a sinus infection and just got over bronchitis.
We found out on the 8th we are having another little girl. I had a cheesy gender reveal dinner for family with a cake cutting to show the gender. It was really fun. They girls are super excited and Landon cried. He said "I'm tired of sisters! Why did God make another girl?" After explaining how he will now be my one and only sweet little boy and daddy's main man he feels better about it. He told me "I guess it's on if it's a girl, I just don't have to help take care of it". Lol. Meaning help feed dress and bring me diapers. I'm sure he will change his mind once she is here. His curiosity and desire to help me will get him in the end. He is always asking how he can help me or what he can do for me.
We are naming her Addison Lee. Lee was my brother Jarretts mn so we are using it in memory of him. Our boys name was Anderson Jarrett. I'm a tad sad we won't get to use it. I fell in love with that name. . But I've already bought a few cute girl things so that helps. Girls are so fun to shop for.
She is an active little thing now too. I couldn't feel her until 19 wks and just last week started feeling her outside my tummy. The kids haven't felt her kick yet because she is mostly active early in the morning and at night. I can't wait to see their reaction though. I hope to catch it on video. .
Oh and dh is thrilled to have another girl. I think he would be completely happy with all girls. He said from day 1 (once the shock wore off and the idea of another baby settled in) that he wanted another girl. Part of it is that he doesn't want to share the special bond him and ds have developed over the last almost 7 years. He is used to splitting his attention between the girls already.
The running joke is that we now have to change our liscence plates. We have personalized plates his says 5(part of our last name) and mine says (part of our last name)5. It's cheesy but we like it.
Glad to hear it's going so well! Morning sickness sucks, but at least you are past that now. Yay, for another girl and what a cute name. I love how you are putting your brothers middle name. That will make it so special for her. Your DS's reaction is funny. Our DS had said all along he wanted another sister, then when we found out we were having a girl, he was all sad and was like, "but what about another brother." Kids are funny.
