Elijah update

He is getting better and better everyday. He was taken off of oxygen on Monday and has been able to breathe room air.
All we have to work on is his feedings. He is an expert at breast feeding but hasn't quiet got the hang of the bottle. But last night he took 2 bottles. We are going to spend the weekend in the hospital with him working on his mouth feedings. He needs to take 48 hours of mouth feedings, with no ng tube feedings and he can come home. So hopefully Monday morning he can come and join his big brother at home.

Loving life with two boys who are 10 months apart and can't wait for team green baby to join us and thinking daily about our angel who was with us for a very short time. (CP at 4 weeks and 5 days)

I am doing ok. It is hard having to be away from one or the other all the time but lukily Silas LOVES my mom and dad. (His first word was Hampa (what my dad is called instead of grandpa)). My mom and dad give him his supper and then take him for a walk almost every night. Silas has my dad wrapped around his little finger, he has slept with my mom and dad almost every night. His daddy gets up at 4 to bring Elijah the milk I pumped through the night and it is an hour drive so my mom and dad would rather watch Silas at night then have Kevin watch him and be tired and then have to drive and because I had a c-section I can't sleep with him (when he wakes up he loves to climb all over me).
As for pain, it isn't to bad. I have only had to use tylenol (since right after my surgery that is all I have taken) and the past couple of days have only had to take it before bed.
