For the first time...

I spoke to my ex about an issue, and he talked back and we had a CONVERSATION! A positive co-parenting style talk. I was in shock. It was through text (I have not spoken to him without documentation in 3 years) But still, he was not rude, he seemed to pay attention to what I was saying. And we came to a decision about how to deal with the issue together!!! I know there's a lot of negativity on this board and I have dealt with it over 4 years now, so I just wanted to share.

Although now I am a little nervous as to why he was being nice. But let's hope this trend continues. I may not like the man, but dangit I want to get along with him and work together.

    Congrats! It really is the small victories that mean the most! I was so excited when my ex and I were able to have a civil conversation!
