What are your thoughts or plans for 1st birthday thank yous?

Just wondering if you'll hand write them or get pre-printed ones and if you will write them from just LO or as a family? For example "thanks for coming to my party. Love, LO." or "thanks for coming to LO's party. Love, mom, dad & LO." Hope this makes sense.

I always hand write and will probably write from the family, though I haven't thought about it.

I personally prefer handwritten. I write them signed LOs name too.

I'm a big thank you noter! I always write very long and personal notes. My mom really pushed us to always write nice thank yous after receiving gifts, so that kind of stuck with me. It makes for an awfully long time writing notes, but I think people appreciate it!

We got matching stationary from an etsy seller and we will just print them off at Staples like I did with the invites. It's pretty cheap and easy. Then I will write the notes on these cards. The stationary says "Love Avery" so thats who they will be from I guess!

My mom taught me that generic thank yous are tacky. I have stuck to that. So handwritten, personalized thank yous is what is always sent out. It will read something to the extent of "Thank you for helping me celebrate my first birthday. Thank you for the ______ I am looking forward to wearing/playing/using my _______. Love, Jackson" ANd then I will give him a pen to scribble on the bottom like he "signed" it
