What kinds of sunscreens do you guys use on your LO's? There were several threads on this last summer while I was still pregnant but I don't recall any specifics that were more "safe"

I like Badger baby sunscreen. It's among the best as far as safety according to EWG's cosmetics safety database and it doesn't have nano-particles (you can read more about their sunscreens here: https://www.badgerbalm.com/t-about_natural_organic_sunscreen.aspx). The main downside is that like all mineral sunscreens it does leave a slight whitish cast, but I'd rather have my son in something I know is safe and looking a little ghostly than put something on him that could disrupt his hormonal functions.
If you do a search on threads a few will pop up, however, I really trust safemama.com and she has compiled a list and explains what ingredients are and aren't safe.
I personally am leaning toward Badger's one top reason being that I can buy it locally but my only problem is that it's supposed to be really thick and I've heard from some moms that they rather use it mainly for the pool and not as for everyday...so do I buy two(everyday and pool) or just go with one that rubs in well even if it's a little less safer than Badger's and just reapply a ton at the pool...I just sweat the small stuff!
We use Badger and like it a lot. I've used CA Baby and while my youngest is fine with it and I like it, my oldest had a reaction so now we use Badger only.
I got Loving Naturals off of Amazon. We've used it once so far and it worked great. Like PP said, though, it does leave a little white on the skin, but that's no biggie.

Nature's Gate the giggleberry for kids is my favorite (easy to apply, rubs in well, nice scent, great protection). Wasn't able to find it online this summer (southern hemisphere...just finished summer season). Used a Cancer Council sunscreen for everyday. Maybe a little worse for us, but can't take chances with so little ozone.
I haven't gotten it yet but I am really excited to try it. Go! Screen Sun screen. It is a powder and is hypoallergenic and works instantly. My LO has little hair and it is on the lighter side so I wanted something that didn't make her hair greasy and is good for an everyday sunscreen. Google them and read their website. I am really excited!
Saftey wise to Go! Screen is the only FDA sunscreen approved to be used on babies under 6 moths apparently. Although they of course say they do not recommend is since babies under 6 mo should not be in the sun. As you can see I am very excited lol.

We love Badger. I'm one of the few that like how the skin has a whitish glow because I know when it's starting to go away it's time for more.

Ditto! I sweat the small stuff too X-] lol and for some reason the forum search has never worked for me since I started visitng here last year.. always takes me to an error page [I'm on IE]
Does anyone know if Badger's white residue bothers cloting at all? Does it leave any stains or spots? I am mostly looking for somehing for every day right now so it would always be coming in contact with clothing. Thanks again everyone!
