I had a very successful FB induction. I went from 1-2 to 4-5 in an hour with it in. I had them do the epi before the procedure because I was fearful of the pain.
I had a foley, I wont lie it was horrible! But I did go from 1 to 5cm in about 20 min. Then I failed to progress and ended in a cs. Ive heard ppl say a foley was worse than actually delivery.
I was going to attempt a foley induction after 41 weeks if I had not delivered, but fortunately, did not have to go this route. Why are they inducing before your due date?
I had this done, it was kind of uncomfortable but I wouldn't say painful. However, they weren't sure if they got it in all the way because my cervix wasn't dilating all the way through.

I was closed up tighter than a clam, and if not for the foley never would have dilated at all; it got me to four, and so it was able to come out. deep breathing and meditation helped get me through it good luck! I am sure you'll be just fine!
On the night you were born, the moon smiled with such wonder that the stars peeked in to see you and the night wind whispered,"life will never be the same"alt="Lilypie 1st Birthday Pic" width="29" height="20" border="0" />
I had a foley induction and it wasn't that bad. When the doctor went to place the bulb she actually broke my water. The inflating of the balloon was uncomfortable and of course my contractions started since my water was broken. I didn't get an epidural for 4 hours later when I went from 1 centimeter to 4. But once I reached 4 centimeters with an epidural I fully dialated within a few hours.
