Woven wrap question (in relation to moby)

I usually wear my son in the ergo when we're out and about but he isn't a fan of it in the house while I'm doing chores.  Today I pulled out our moby and tried that, and he seemed much happier, possibly because he had some more mobility.  The problem is he is so heavy now the moby kills my back & shoulders!  Does the fabric of a woven wrap make a huge difference in your comfort since it doesn't stretch as much?  Thanks for the input!

    I agree with both of the PPs.  I can wear my 2 1/2 year old, while 27 weeks pregnant in a woven wrap.

    Can you all suggest your favorite woven wraps? I'm in the same position, DS and I love the Moby but he's getting a bit heavy in it.

    ETA: Just went down about 20 topics and saw some answers. Thanks, you all, for helping me add to my stock of carriers and wraps Wink
