Is it just me or is there a baby boom going on right now?

I feel like there are SO many pregnant people around me due in August/September. (I was due September 6th.) It seems like as soon as I start to feel okay about things and accept what happened, someone else pops up with a due date close to what mine was.

Maybe I am just hyper-sensitive to it right now?

    OMG!!!! I couldn't agree more! I was due Sept 24th and I feel like everyone I know is having a bay around then (okay, I exaggerate a little, but still....) I swear, no matter where I go, pregnant women surround me. It's awful!!

    I think you're probably just more sensitive to it.  I'm sorry though, it's so hard.  A lady in our office building has an April due date, and I want to die every time I see her.  She's hugely pregnant, and can't help thinking I should be waddling around with her.  ((hugs))

    It totally sucks, but I think you're just super sensitive to it. Since my first loss in November, the entire world has become pregnant. 
    It was a rough road, but Arlo Daniel was born April 1, 2013—and our second rainbow is due October 12, 2014.

    I feel like I'm much more sensitive to it. A girl I work with was only three weeks ahead of me. It's so hard sometimes. 

    If there's a baby boom going on, I want in on it!

    Yes this. Plus it's about that time that September moms are announcing, so it's all of a sudden more in you face. FWIW, I'm convinced every pg lady I see is due in May/June.

    I know what you mean! I went months without a fb pg announcement, now 7 girls are due within 1 month either side of my August edd. Sucks.

    There definitely seems to be a baby boom going on in my office.  One girl just delivered on Tuesday, another is due in June, another in July, and another announced this week that she's due in September.  I admit to being sensitive, but before this year there was only one pregnant woman at a time in my department.

    No, I'm totally with you. I was due September 9 and the miscarriage was 2 weeks ago. Today was the first time I was able to talk about it without crying and so it's been tough to try to put on a cheerful face with all these pregnancies around me. Of course I wish everyone well - absolutely! I just miss my little one so much and am scared to go through this again. You're not hyper-sensitive at all. It's totally understandable.

    This. Pg ladies are everywhere. Friends I've had for many years had to get pg NOW. And none of them even tried!

    I have 4 coworkers that I know of due within weeks of me. (I've been off work since my m/c with back problems, so I may have missed some announcements)

    Found out our baby boy had Triploidy XXY through embryopathology
    BFP #2 September 28th 2011 Due June 8th 2012
    Missed m/c discovered November 20th 2011 at 11w2d
    D&C November 29th 2011 at 12w4d
    Found out our baby girl had Monosomy X through embryopathology
    BFP #3 April 24th 2012 Due January 5th 2013
    Betas falling on 04/26/12 Chemical Pregnancy
    RPL testing done, multi nodular goiters on thyroid discovered.

    BFP #4 November 22nd 2012, Due August 5th 2013
    Betas: 17 @ 9dpo, 62 @ 11dpo, 124 @ 12dpo, 321 @ 14dpo 720 @ 16dpo 13,805 @ 23 dpo 
    First ultrasound at 6w3d, hb 122 bpm. 
    Second ultrasound at 7w3d hb 143 bpm 
    Third ultrasound at 10w1d hb 167-170 bpm 
    Forth ultrasound 12w1d hb 167 bpm 
    Graduated rpl program, moving on to regular ob! 
    It's a boy!

    This is me too.  I actually had two with April EDDs at work. One already had her baby 2 weeks ago and the other is huuuuuggggeee! I still cringe when I see her. I can't even ooh and ahh at her. I'm supposed to be 37 weeks now, full term. Sh!t!!!  I also have a co worker who is due in June, it is her second...she is a large woman and already looks huge so I have been avoiding her too. It sucks.

    I'm sorry you're feeling this way, but I agree w/pp that it may be hyper-sensitivity.  My EDD is in July & just keep reading/watching about everyone all of a sudden being pregnant.  It sucks, but you can make it through it!  Yes

    You're sensitive to it now, which is completely normal. I've definitely noticed pregnant people before, but it seems like just about everyone and their mom is pregnant right now. That's really just because I notice it more and dwell on the fact that I'm not one of them.

    I thought I heard on the news that Sept is the busiest month for births, since a lot of BD'ing goes on around Christmas.
