I am overwhelmed at the selection of strollers. Do you have one you absolutely love? I am a heavy walker, but it's mostly on roads. And I like to cart around a lot of stuff when I shop, etc. What's a good, lightweight, easy to use and maneuver, durable stroller?
Thanks in advance for your recommendations!

Re: Recommend a stroller
I have a bunch of favorites. I have a Phil & Ted's Sport (I've had it ages, and love it) and a Chariot Carrier bike trailer/jogger (hands down the best stroller I've owned - I had 8). I just got rid of my PITA Quinny Buzz (hate, so tippy and rotten storage).
I'm saving pennies right now to replace our Zapp, I need something lightweight, especially when we're trying to fit all the kids and shopping in our van, the Sport takes up too much room then. DH doesn't like the City Mini. I'll likely get the Phil and Ted's Smart (well made and not expensive), but if I can swing it, I'd like either the Mamas & Papas Urbo or Sola. I've contemplated the new UB Cruz and BJ Versa, but when they eventually arrive in Canada, very few stores will have them, so I don't think I'll be waiting for a stroller I may or may not like.
Honestly, you'll probably end up with more than one stroller. I tried to just have the one but different needs require diff. strollers. I started out with just a frame that you put the baby car seat on. Then when Adrian got too big, I got a Graco Metrolite stroller for $150 that works great for smooth sidewalks and the mall. Lots of storage and it's super comfy for the baby. Then, we moved from Florida to San Antonio, where the sidewalks are bumpy. And we live next to a park with great trails that are not paved. So I got a Baby Trend Expedition jogger stroller for $99. Not a true jogging stroller but I only walk. And NOW I also have a $49 blue umbrella stroller from BRU that I love. It's tall enough for me (I can't use the real cheap ones that are too short) and lightweight enough to haul around town, to crowded events and when traveling. I use that one the most now that Adrian is older.
I like the City Mini too but it has little storage underneath. If you shop a lot, it won't be sufficient.
Good luck!
I have an old Phil and Teds sport that I like, but it is a bit heavy. I have only ever brought it in the car once. We mostly use it to walk to the pool, or when I am watching my friend's kid and want the double stroller.
I just bought an uppababy g-luxe. It is an umbrella style stroller. I have been really happy with the way it maneuvers through the city. It is light and folds quickly. It reclines and has a great sunshade. I wish it folded a bit smaller, the wheels jut out a bit, but it is a minor complaint.
