So when do you stop checking your TP?

Because I'm driving myself crazy looking for spotting! Every time I go to the bathroom I say a little prayer. Is that normal? I'm thinking this is going to be a loooong pregnancy if I'm being this neurotic.

and I am still going strong lol The only time I dont look is at night because I try not to turn the lights on and wake up DH

For me it slowed down after my a/s. I think around 30 weekday I went to the bathroom and realised I hadn't looked at the TP for a while. Of course, now I am back to checking it.

With DD and with this pg, I do a Christ glance still every time if there's enough light to. I don't do it at night (requiring me to turn a light on).

I think it started decreasing with my NT scan, then much more after my A/S. I've been checking it lately looking for extra mucus though!

It gets easier, the beginning is the hardest.

I must say I still do that occasionally. Not all the time, but with all of the excess discharge I sometimes worry. I dunno if I will ever fully quit, but I don't do it EVERY time like I did at the beginning.

I check every time. Now though, it's more because there is so much CM that it feels very wet all of the time.

I stopped around 9 weeks...but the urge to look is still there. I force myself just to toss and not look! I think what you're experiencing is very normal!

Now, I'm pretty early in this process myself, but I am pretty sure I will keep checking at least until after my loss milestone of 11w. After that, who knows!

*swooping down from TTCAL* Just wanted to say I am so happy for you!!! Also, for me, it never stopped. When I was pregnant with DD, I would sometimes convince myself that I had to pee so that I could wipe. 'Cause you know, otherwise it just seemed bat sh!t crazy to wipe without peeing. Yeah, that's it.

I stopped after first tri with DD. This time, I doubt I will ever stop. I even turned on the light in the middle of the night last night to check. Embarrassed

I'm one of the ones who never stopped. It does get easier though. I went from obsessively checking in the beginning of this pregnancy every time I felt some CM, to just checking when I actually needed to use the bathroom. My checking obsession slowed down around the NT scan. I don't think it hurts to check though esp. since bleeding in the second and third tri means a call to your practitioner.

I still check every single time, but I'm no longer as worried about it. I think the worry eased a little at the second tri mark, then at half baked, then at v day.

I am still checking mine. It's has def. eased up some, but I'll check at least once to twice a day. And if I feel (TMI coming) a gush in my panties...I'll go to the bathroom right then and check still.

I'm another proud member of the "I obsessively check the TP" club. The only time I don't is at night when it's dark. I will say, though, that it's more of a habit and I'm not looking because I'm afraid or concerned, it's just what I do now.
