TTC After a Loss

I feel like an 80 yr old woman!

So I had my follow up with my infertility specialist yesterday.  He is wonderful, and each of our appointments are scheduled for an hour, so I never feel rushed.  At our last appointment we thought that my progesterone was low bc I was having brown spotting after my period (not bad 2-3 days, but this was new for me).  I restarted taking progesterone supp and had labs drawn.  To my surprise, my prog was at a 17 (he likes medicated levels to be 22).  It could be better, but should not have been causing the spotting.  Well, yesterday we spent a lot of time rehashing all of the pathology reports as well as revisiting my spotting issue.  Now he thinks that I have endometritis.  Which seems to make sense to me.

So, why do I feel like an 80 year old woman?  He started me on an antibioitic for 10 days each cycle.  With the antibiotic, and the probiotic that I am taking due to the prolonged antibiotic use, I am now taking up to 16 pills (mostly vitamins) in the morning.  YIKES!!!  I barely have room for breakfast!  At least we all had a good laugh over how crazy my med list is begining to look like.

  • I totally understand!  Before I got pregnant, I think I was on 8 pills a day!  (For various med conditions) And I freaking hate taking pills- I can barely take a tylenol!

  • I'm rowing the same boat with ya! I joke that my counter looks like CVS.

I actually took them all off of the counter and put them in a plastic container that I could easily take in and out of the closet.  I even marked each lid.  It is so sad!  LOL!

  • Ha! I feel ya. I have two of those day of the week organizers on my night stand, one for my morning meds and one for my night time meds/vitamins. I need to get a water cooler to put next to my night stand. I feel like I drink a full 20oz glass of water per day just to down my pills.

On another note, glad you're getting some answers.
