I am expecting my second in June. DS won't be big enough for a Sit N Stand so I need a decent double stroller, preferably not a side by side as it may have to hold a carseat as well.
My trunk is VERY small and I need something that can fit.
I'm also on a serious budget as my H and I are no longer together so I'm paying for everything myself.
Suggestions?
Re: Moms of 2+ - Compact Double Stroller
What kind of car do you have?
I have a small car and double strollers (front and back) don't fit at all.
I drive a Volvo S40. The stroller I have now is a Graco Quattro Tour and it fits in with very little room to spare length wise.
The double umbrella stroller is actually a wonderful idea. I think I could do baby-wearing for a few months. It'll probably help me lose a few extra baby pounds as well.
I'll continue looking around and if I have no luck I'll just try that.
This! Also, see if there are those baby sales in your area (consignment sales? I cant' think of the right term!) Thrift stores, Craigslist or eBay are all good options for used baby stuff, too!
We have a Phil & Ted Sport, and it fit the trunk of our car, but we had a Toyota Camry at the time, not sure how that is in relation to your car!
