So we have a DD right now (21 months when baby is born and baby will be in our room 6 months), she can go into a big girl bed if we decide to use her convertible crib for the new baby. I can't decide:
*Let DD keep her convertible crib and eventually turn into a full size bed for her & Buy a new convertible crib for the baby and it will eventually turn into a full size bed (will need to buy crib mattress
*Get DD a fs bed (will need to buy fs mattress and fs frame & head/footboard) & Give new baby her convertible crib which will eventually turn into a fs bed
I'm trying to not purchase unnecessary things that will be used a short time, and be cost efficient. What do you think the best option is?
I'm not sure how much a fs frame & head/footboard is so that is research I haven't done.
Re: 2nd Baby - Crib?
Containment is key with 2 small children.
A cheap 2nd crib is the best $$ we ever spent.
We sold the 2nd one on Craigslist for over half of what we paid for it so the end game out of pocket cost was barely anything and so very well worth it.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.
