I have noticed that this name gets very few votes on my list. I am wondering why it is so disliked. Anyone?

I find it old but not classic in that way some names are. ex. John is old but doesn't seem dated
I don't think it's a bad or terrible name but I have a bad association with it.
Don't worry about your list. It's soooooo subjective. I used to clear the votes every month or so and names would go from "least popular" to "most popular" pretty regularly. There's no consistency to the way people vote.
That being said, I think Kevin is just the least 'modern' name on your list. It just doesn't roll with any of the current trends, like a lot of your others do.
It's DH's name so I have a natural fondness for it, but it just seems a little dated for a child today.
That said, I'd be thrilled to meet a little boy named Kevin. It's a nice name.
Kevin is a great name.
I find it ironic that some people think it is dated, yet walter/adeline/lucille etc are all becoming extremely popular. "Dated-ness" (ha) is completely subjective. Eventually, every name becomes popular again and then dated again.
Kevin is a good name that is spelled properly and very masculine.
I think it's a perfectly fine name, but it's a name that was used a lot in the past generation (the one having babies now) and hence I don't think it sounds very fresh to them.
They say that name preferences tend to skip a generation, which is why so called "old lady" and "old man" names are in vogue now. Parents generally don't want to name their children something they heard a lot growing up. I bet that people thumbing down the name aren't doing it because they hate the name; they probably just don't find it new or interesting.
In any case, don't strike it from your list because of that; it's still a great name, and I don't think it sounds dated personally.
I love it. I think it's in the dated camp but not the "hip" dated camp. That tends to be the group of names I prefer though. You more than likely won't run across another little Kevin whereas you'll probably trip over a Henry every other day.
It's just not chic (yet).
ETA: It doesn't surprise me now that it's on your list; I love your son's name too. That's our first choice for another boy. In fact, I like a lot of your names. We have similar taste.
