What was the earliest you saw a heartbeat?

With my first pregnancy, I had my first u/s at 7weeks 5 days. This time, it will be 6 weeks, 1 day. That's pretty early, right? I'm just afraid it will be too early for the heartbeat, and I will have to go back a 2nd time (and be worried sick until then.)

I just got back from my first appointment, according to my cycle I'm 6 weeks 5 days. They did an ultrasound and I'm measuring 6 weeks 1 day. I think I was overwhelmed to see the little peanut that I didn't notice the flicker of the heartbeat. Obgyn and DH saw it though, but it's too early to get a bpm. Good luck!

I had an ultrasound last week at 6 weeks 1 day, baby was measuring 5 weeks 5 days and I got to see the heartbeat and they were able to measure it at 94 bpm.

I had one a 8w5d... doc said I was measuring 9w1d and then listened for the heartbeat. She said she never does that before 9 weeks. Every doc is different though.

I was 6 weeks to the day when I first saw the heartbeat. It was crazy looking, beating so fast in this tiny little thing! I only had the u/s due to possible complications, though. You can't HEAR the heartbeat until 9 weeks earliest, but even at 9 weeks they couldn't hear mine yet.

At 6w4d, the heart was beating at 124bpm! I also had one in the 5th week, when it was just a sac. I think in the 6th week, it is detectable

My doc wouldn't even give me a u/s until I was 10 weeks because he said I'd be happier because there's more to see then. I'm glad we waited, since we'll probably only get 2 u/s's

I had my 1st appt. / us yesterday at 7w3d. Saw the hb and heard it beating away.

With DS, I was 6w2d or 6w3d when I had the first u/s, and we were able to see a hb that measured at 128bpm. The heart starts beating at the end of week 5 or beginning of week 6 - if your dates are right, you should see a hb, but if they're off at all, you might not be quite far enough along.

I had my first ultrasound at 6 weeks 1 day and saw the heart beat at 120 bomb

In the 6th week we could see the little heart pumping away.

In the 8th week we could see the heart and the OB/GYN was able to get a little bit of a beat.

At 11 weeks I was able to hear/see it at the OB/GYN's and then today I had my first trimester screening and we got to hear it and the tech measured it at 156bpm.

I've been pretty heavily monitored due to past unexplained infertility so I was lucky to get to see the little one so much, but some people don't even go to the doctor until 8 to 10 weeks, so no worries.

I saw it at 5 weeks 6 days with DS, and 6 weeks 4 days with this one. 6 weeks is right around when it starts beating, so if your dates are off even by a day or two it may make a difference.
