AW: Got her birth cert today!

As most of you know (or those who read my post from about a month ago), my DH adopted my DD, since her biological father has been out of the picture since I was 6 weeks pregnant with her. DH has been with me since I was about 4/5 months pregnant, so he is the only daddy DD has ever known. Anyway we went to court October 29 to get her biological dad's rights terminated and DH adopted her. We got her new birth certificate today in the mail!!! I'm so excited! What a great early birthday present for me!

How old is DD?

She will be 2 in January. I am not sure what we will do to celebrate...maybe I will make a nice dinner and we will read lots and lots of books tonight. Who knows! I am just so damn proud!

He sounds like a keeper...congrats! BTW, I've always wanted to tell you that I {HEART} the name Teagan. I would've loved to use it as a girl's name, but it sounds terrible with our last name.
