Sizes

What size is your LO currently using?

DD is still wearing 3-6 months, sometimes 6-9m but its still baggy on her. She's worn 0-3 or 3m onesies to sleep, mainly when they run on the big side. But, I have a lot of problem with pants, because she has butterball turkey legs, hehe She's like 6-9m or 12m in pants.

Re: Sizes

  • Generally 6-9, but some stores only do 6-12, so either one of those works for her.
  • Loading the player...
  • 6-12 just barely fits so we're into 12-18 now. My little porker weighs 21 pounds already!!!

This, and some shirts I have from Carters are 12m but for some reason they are smaller than all the other Carter's 12m stuff I have, so he wears those too.

  • 12m is starting to get a little snug, but I think she'll be ok with this size for hopefully another month.

I buy the gerber sleepers which run really small so 18m for those.

  • Carter's 9 months mostly. She does have some 12 month items that aren't too big on her.

    She weighs 21 lbs.

  • Carters 9 months, some onesies he can still squeeze into a 6 month (short sleeve).  PJs are definitely 12 months otherwishe they are too short on him.  Other clothes are 6-9 months or 6-12 months.

He does have jammies from the disney store and they are 12-18 months.  So I guess he's all over the place.  He is around 18lbs.

  • My daughter sounds obese compared to everyone else...dd is wearing 18 month clothes and fastly growing out of them...she is a big girl, weighing in at 22 pounds
  • My tiny baby is only 14 pounds. She mostly wears carters size 3 months. 6 month onsies fit, but the pants are huge and fall off if she crawls or stands up. Hopefully she fattens up soon, we have a ton of cute 9 month summer clothes to wear!

  • Weird! DD is 21 lbs too!! Maybe it's just that I buy clothes that run big or I don't like her to wear clothes that look baggy.

  • A good share of 6 month stuff and mainly 6-9, with some 9 months (sleepers) thrown in.

We're going backwards though. All the crawling/jumping/moving around she does all day is making her skinny. 9 month pants fit her for a long time but now we're back to 6 and I'd swear it'd be 3-6 if it wasn't for the cloth diapers..lol.

She has some cute 12 month dresses for spring/summer but they're too big for awhile yet.

We've been stuck in the same size range since after Thanskgiving. She was so tall for awhile I had to go bigger but her pants were hanging off of her. Then her height slowed but she gained weight, so they still fit...and that's where we are now.

12 for onesies/shirts, 18 for pants.  I blame the cloth diapers.

    This.

  • We have butterball turkey legs too! Mason just outgrew his 3-6 month cloths. It is strange how it always seems to happen overnight. One day everything fits, and the next day he needs a whole new wardrobe. It's always fun to move up to the next size and new clothes!image

This. Up until a week ago she was still comfortably wearing some 0-3. They still work, but are a tad snug, so I retired them.

Oh, and she has some Children's Place jammies that are 6-9. They seem to run smaller than most jams.

I don't know her exact weight, but I would guess it's between 14 and 15 lbs.

  • This makes me feel a little better about my peanut.  DD is just now starting to wear 9 month size.  She still wears 6 month sleepers but they are looking tight and I need to buy 9 month sleepers. She wears a mix usually 6-9 months and like old navy or gymboree 6-12 months. Size 2 diapers still. just bought size 2 and size 3 shoes for her.  She is about 15 1/ 2 lbs. more long

  • Depends on the brand, but either 6m or 9m.

She has a long torso, short legs, and weighs 14.5lbs.

  • 12 month in shirts/onesies and mostly 9 month in pants. Some 12 month pants fit but they're ususally too long.

  • It varies depending on brands but mostly 9-12 months, or something close to that.

  • My little guy is mostly in 18 month, but has even stated outgrowing those! Watching him compared to other babies today at story time I realized he has a really long torso in comparison to other kiddos of similar age. I bought a ton of 12/18 month summer clothes last season hoping they'd fit. The 12 month stuff is already packed away, I'm hoping the 18 month stuff will still work!

  • DS is about 18lbs and fits comfortably in 9 months Carters, 6-9 months Children's Place, and 9-12 month Children's Place pjs (he's always been on the longer side, so he is into the next size pjs first out of any other article of clothing). He was 6+ wks premature so I'm super happy with his growth!

  • My guy can still fit into some 6-12 but it's starting to get tight.  We are making the transition to 12-18.
