HELLP and Pre-E survivors come in please!!

I delivered early due to Hellp back in Feb.  Within the last few minutes I have begun to have the spots in my eye like I did in the hospital.  Would you call your regular physician or your OB?  Anyone have the symptoms come back this far out?  I'm really freaked right now.

    I would probably call your regular physician if they don't go away.  I would think that andy pre-e or HELLP lingering effects would have been long gone.  What kind of spots are they (dark or light)?  Are they peripheral or central?  Do you have any other symptoms, like headaches?  Have you checked your BP?

    I'ts weird, it's blinky type spots.  Started in the middle of my left eye and moved off to the side.  now it's just in the corner. I do have a slight headache but that could be because I'm freaking out.  I have left messages for both my primary and my ob.  Hopefully one calls back soon.  I don't have a pressure cuff here.

    I get those when i get migraines. COuld it be a migraine?

    I dunno - I've never had a migraine before.  My headache is pretty mild at the moment.

    i get floaters and then ?one side of mine goes numb starting in my fingers and then onto my arm and mouth. it sucks, but super similar to having pree and hellp. My headache doesnt start till later

    I'd call your regular doctor for sure.  I had an atypical presentation of severe pre-e and multi-organ failure and even though my son is almost 3yrs old I'm still not ok without meds...I'll be on medication for the rest of my life which sucks, but is better than the alternative ;-)  In all seriousness though I don't think it's strange to have symptoms or lingering effects because I still have them.

    I still have lingering effects, too.  I would get checked out with your symptoms, though.  I get spots with migraines, but since you haven't had migraines before, you shoud see the doctor.  Please update us with how you are.

    I get the same things when I have migranes. I hope that is all it is.

    I think that is the only HELLP symptom I didn't have. I would definately get it checked out...

    Well I checked my BP at the store and it was high 148/92.  I finally got into the Doc's office at 4 and it was 112/72.  He wants me to monitor it and get my eyes checked.

    I started getting floaters during my pregnancy, it was migraine affected. I would get weird dots wherever I focused my vision then would move to one side left or right, last about 30 minutes and then I would get a headache, sometimes I wouldn't get the migraine. Good luck.

    Call your doctor!  My eyes are still messed up 5 months PP.  I was sent to an eye doctor who was able to see if the fluid was draining from behind my eyes.  GL!
