  • That's weird. Everything you read says they are supposed to have a 9 month appt.

  • There aren't any vaccines between 6 & 12 months, so some pedi's recommend a different schedule. Did they not schedule the next appointment at all?

  • My best friend's pedi doesn't do a 9 month appointment, just 6 then 12. Mine does do a 9 month though.

that's what i was wondering, but in NJ they need bloodwork at 9 mo so i was surprised. and no, they said nothing to her about scheduling...

  • Mine will end up being a 10 month appt because our appts are off schedule from when we switched pedis.

  • My friend and I both go to Kaiser, but to different offices. My office does a 9 month appt and her office doesn't. At least they didn't schedule one for her at her 6 month appt and she didn't ask. I guess there was no real reason for us to go to the 9 month appt, other than having him weighed and to check in about milestones. No vaccines, bloodwork, etc here.

Yes we have a 9 month appointment and need to get blood work done.

  • We go to Kaiser and our Pedi did not schedule a 9 month appointment. We are going in tomorrow anyways to check Bay's Head Growth. But normally there is no appointment at 9 months. I am glad that we are going though because I have a crap load of questions for her Pedi :)
