An all over update post on me

Let's start with good news! We are having a BOY so far everything looks great, he is very stubborn and wouldn't show his face but was all about showing off the "goods". He is measuring 5 days ahead again, we will talk about moving my due date at my next apt even though I know exactly when I O'ed.

My toes are broken! I'm trying to avoid getting an x ray while pregnant so we are waiting to see if the swelling will go down to tell if my foot is broken. If we can't tell tomorrow afternoon then I will be getting an x ray

And then more bad news, my godfather passed at 7:28 this morning ( he promised to give my daughter a huge hug from me and told me not to worry that he was hers now and that she would be told how much I wanted her and how much I love her.

His service is on Saturay but I will unfortunately not be able to go. My doctor was very nervous about me being so far away so she thinks it's best if I don't go. It's an 18 hour drive and I already have hydration issues.

First I am so unbelievably sorry for the loss of your godfather. He sounds like he was a wonderful person. I'm also really sorry about your broken toes and possibly foot and I hope the swelling goes down and you can avoid an X-Ray.

All that being said I'm thrilled that your little boy is doing great and growing strong! Sending tons of T's & P's to you and your family during this difficult time. ((HUGS))

So sorry for the loss of your Godfather! His words to you were sweet and I am sure very comforting to you. And also sorry you won't be able to attend his service.

I am so sorry about your toes--with the X-ray, can they cover your belly with lead to prevent anything from getting to baby? I hope the foot doesn't hurt too much and keep you up at night again. I get sympathy pains just thinking about it.
Congratulations on your baby boy! That is very exciting.

They can cover my belly but it still freaks me out. My dr just called to ask about the swelling and I have to go in tomorrow afternoon to get it checked and a possible x ray.

Oh hun....I'm so so sorry about your godfather. I started tearing up reading this. I wish so much that I could give you a big hug IRL. And your poor little toes! I hope your resting up. Now on to that stubborn baby boy of yours. I am so happy that he continues to excel in his growth and development. Are you gonna get a 3D scan?

I always thought not much can be done for a toe anyways, like just maybe spinting or taping it...but I'm no doctor. Maybe see what good an x-ray would do other than tell you, why yes its broken. But I'm sure that is no fun. Good thoughts for the swelling to go down!

Yay! Congrats on the little man! Sorry about your toes

, hopefully no x-rays for you. Maybe elevating them and constant icing will do the trick. And I am very sorry about your godfather, hopefully him and Addison will do a good job watching over you and the new addition.

18 hours?! I don't blame your doctors for being a little over cautious. Unfortunately you'll miss the service but I'm sure your godfather would understand.

Hopefully your foot isn't broken! Pg ladies have a hard enough time moving as it is! I'm sorry about your godfather, what a lovely thing for you to think about-he and your daughter in heaven with one another. My mom passed away about 2 years ago, and although I'm not religious, for various reasons, I do think she's been with me since she died. It makes it easier (a little) to think about having lost LO #1, that maybe she/he's in heaven (whatever that is) with my mom. Glad you're on the blue team, too! I'm so looking forward to meeting this little guy!
