P90X is a great set of videos if you are really looking to build muscle tone. If you are just starting a work out series I would suggest P90X first and then continuing with Insanity when you are done to maintain results. My Husband since he completed his P90X cycle actually does a mix of insanity and P90X to keep the results.
I have only done Insanity, which I love. I chose Insanity over P90X because it seems that the workouts on P90X are much longer, and I just didn't have that much time.
