sewing by hand: pf's to contours?

is this a really really bad idea?  i don't have a machine (nor do i know how to use one) but i am so over pf's - ds is way too wiggly.  anyone try this?  am i just looking for trouble?

    I would say that you're looking for trouble.  If cost isn't a concern you could have someone do it for you.  I don't thin that it would cost much, but they're heavy, so shipping isn't great.

    yeah, the shipping is the killer.  i had a local mom who offered to do it for free but it seems she's fallen off the planet! oh well...
