I saw in a few posts below about someone getting induction acupuncture. How do you go about finding a place that does this? I have quite a while to go but I am researching all of the options I have to help induce labor. TIA
My midwife had a suggestions, as did my pilates instructor. You can try searching through a doula or a yoga center or an herbal center. All the "granola people" (said with love) tend to network together.

I got recommendations from both my prenatal chiropractor and my doula (both referred me to the same woman).
I had 3 sessions a couple of days apart starting at 40 weeks. The contractions during the sessions got pretty intense. Labor didn't start though until the morning after my membranes were swept (about 48 hours after my last acupuncture session). I do believe the acupuncture helped, but nothing started until my body was "ready", KWIM?
