Daddy delivered baby!

DS2 was born late last night at home! After 2.5 hours of active labor and maybe 10 pushes, my baby boy was born! Dad delivered him since the midwife wasn't there yet!

Congratulations!

We had a very similar experience a few weeks ago. After we got over the "trauma" it was such a fabulous experience to have shared and gone through.

Congratulations! i'm in awe of people that have very long labors and super fast labors. Neither can be easy! I hear people say all the time they wish they had very fast labors, but I imagine going through it is MUCH more intense and scary than one would think.
