:( I'm pretty sure I broke my toes!

in Pregnant after a Loss

At work this morning a half keg fell on my foot :( I managed to get most of me out of the way but there just wasn't enough space to save my foot.

 

I think  there is a chance that I may have some damage to my entire foot but a few of my toes are definitely broke.  I'm going to ask my dr to look tomorrow during my apt  to see if I should go and get x-rays done!

    Oh my god!  That sound so painful! Sorry you have to go through that.  I remember breaking my little toe's nail and that was really painful.  I hope you didn't break anything.  GL on your appt tomorrow!

    Aww, boooo!  I broke a toe, maybe two a few months back.  There was nothing that could be done since it was just the toes.  No reason to xray because even confirming they were broken would still mean there was nothing they could do for me.  Maybe they can do soemthing if you also hurt your foot?  Either way, I hope you can at laest get something pregnancy friendly for the pain and take some time to relax with your foot up.

    OUCH. 

    I think you are definitely going to need x-rays. Hopefully there is something they can do so that you won't be in pain for the next few weeks. Foot injuries are such a hassle!

    The under side of 3 of my toes is completely black and blue. And the bruising is now spreading to the top of my foot. I've tried ice and elevation and the swelling is still getting worse.  Dang! This is not fun.

    Oh no!! I'm glad most of you got out of the way though. I hope you didn't do too much damage to your foot and you DR can take a look at it. ((hugs))

    Ugh ... sorry, that totally sucks.   Hoping it's not too bad of an outcome but sounds painful.   I think DH waiting on you sounds like a good idea.  :)

    You poor thing!  I hope you feel a little better in the morning, though I'm guessing your toes will still hurt like hell.  I don't know what you do for a living, but are you in a position where you need to worry about this happening again or worse?  If so you might want to bring it to your boss' attention.

    Unfortunately, yes I am in a position that this can happen again:( I'm the executive chef of a small restaurant. My boss was there when it happened ( he is actually the one that was moving a keg when others fell) so I think that he might possibly start takin my pregnancy a little more serious. I'm already down to only 8 hour shifts with a warning that i might not last long at that. With the heat we've been having and physical demand of my job my doctor has said to expect that I won't be working past June if not earlier.
