I need to buy 1 or 2 drying racks. DH prefers bamboo but a lot of the reviews are saying that they don't last long. We've always had clotheslines but can't have them at this house.
We have a white painted metal one that folds down quite small that I got at a garage sale. I'd previously preferred wood (didn't know about bamboo - though I probably would have had the same preference as DH had I known), but when I saw it for $5 or something, I thought the price was right and stopped being picky. It's worked for us pretty well. Inside in the winter, outside on the balcony summer & spring & fall. It hasn't rusted or blown around, which were some of my concerns about a metal one.

This is what we have. Bought it cheap at Target. It's worked well for us. We use it mostly for our CDs.
You can tell from my posts lately that I love Ikea, ha ha!
We've had one from there for 4 years and it's still going strong. Ours is the Antonius model that hooks into rails that you mount on your wall. It's awesome because it folds out of the way. I don't see the one I have online but the Grundtal one is similar though I think my was less expensive.
